Print Instructions

Co-Chairs: Ruth Foy 625-4603 dfoy3@q.com
Marion Haber 625-6566 marionkhaber@cox.net

Every Birdie & Chip-In will be counted for every paid member.

Each time a paid member has a Birdie and/or Chip-In, the hole score on the scorecard should be marked with a circle, and a line to a written explanation as to if it was a Birdie or a Chip-In or both.

Ringers:

This game determines the best score a player has for each hole for the entire year; hence at the end of the year, the lowest gross and net scores for all 3 courses determine awards.

Each player must complete one round on all 3 courses.

Birdies, Chip-Ins & Ringers are eligible on any league day's post-able score (completed round) at Quail Creek - this includes all play days, Member-Guest, no-frills, etc. They will NOT be counted in a scramble or alternate shot format.

COST:

Total cost is $5.00 per year for all 3 games.

Treasurer collects the money in the Pro Shop envelope and notifies the Coordinator who has paid.

Members can pay at any time, but the count does not begin until after the member has paid except for 2012. In 2012, all players who pay their money before February 1st will have everything counted from January 1, 2012.

The $5.00 will be divided between all 3 games for winnings.

TIME FRAME:

All 3 games begin:
January 1st thru April 30th, and November 1st thru November 30th.

SCORECARDS:

Correctly marked official scorecards must to be turned in directly after playing.

Coordinator will e-mail a copy of the Birdie, Chip-In & Ringer masters to the Web Master to be put up on the Web Site three (3) times a year the week following:
February 28th or 29th April 30th
November 30th

This allows each paid member to check and make sure that her Birdie(s), Chip-Ins & Ringers were recorded properly.

AWARDS:

Special Annual Awards Pins:

Birdies - member who has the greatest number
Chip-Ins - member who has the greatest number
Ringers - member who has the lowest gross & net scores

Birdies & Chip-Ins:
Prize money will be distributed at the Holiday luncheon.
Money will be presented to each member determined by the number of Birdies & Chip-Ins each has accumulated.

Ringers:
The number of participants will determine the number of flights.
Flights are determined using the total of the person's handicaps for all three courses at the time the member pays for the year.
Each flight pays both gross and net. No player shall be paid for both a gross and a net score. Examples of the pay outs may be:
Four (4) flights pay six (6) places down; or
Five (5) flights pay five (5) places down for.

If there is a tie, the tie is broken starting with scores on the course with the highest rating. So ties are broken: first with the scores on Quail, followed by Coyote and then Roadrunner to determine the winners.
