ARTICLE I – NAME:
The name of this organization shall be the QUAIL CREEK COUNTRY CLUB LADIES 9 HOLE GOLF ASSOCIATION, hereinafter called the Association (9 HOLE QCLGA), a non-profit organization.
ARTICLE II – PURPOSE:
The objectives and purpose of the Association shall be to promote, regulate, develop, and conduct activities among the members in accordance with the USGA Rules of Golf, AWGA By-Laws and the Association’s Standing Rules.
ARTICLE III – MEMBERSHIP:
Members of the Association must be members of Quail Creek Country Club in good standing. They may be members of the 18 Hole Association at the same time.
Members of the Association may participate in their activities provided their fees and dues are paid to date. Annual dues shall be determined by the Executive Committee with the approval of the membership.
The fiscal Year shall be January 1st through December 31st.
ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS:
The elected officers of the Association shall be: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Tournament Chairman.
ARTICLE V – EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE:
The Executive Committee shall consist of the present Officers and the immediate Past President, ex-officio.
ARTICLE VI – BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
The Board of Directors shall consist of the Executive Committee and the Committee Chairman.
ARTICLE VII – MEETINGS:
The Executive Committee and Board of Directors meetings shall be held as deemed necessary by the President. The Annual General Meeting will be held in January.
ARTICLES AND AMENDMENTS:
The constitution may be amended by a two-thirds vote of the members present at any General or special meeting provided written notice of said amendment is mailed to each member, or posted, two weeks prior to the date of the meeting.
